Hoffman records 600th save
Milwaukee Brewers closer Trevor Hoffman recorded his 600th career save in a victory over the St. Louis Cardinals.
Hoffman, who has struggled to close games the past few years, hung on just long enough to reach the plateau.
It’s very possible he will now decide to retire in the offseason after reaching the milestone with a month of baseball left to play.
